About Me
First and foremost, I’m a student with a keen interest in the natural world around me. Luckily, Australia provides the perfect environment to explore this interest with its rich biodiversity. This has led to to my current Honours year at the Australian National University, studying Gehyra speciation in the Kimberley.
On the side, I spend far too many hours driving to seemingly random parts of the country in search of my core interest, reptiles and frogs. Along the way, I’ve made several close friends with the same interests who luckily make the many hours on the road much more bearable. Together, we’ve explored many a national park, roadside verge and remote servo in our ongoing quest for small brown skinks.
After completing several such longer trips around parts of the country in search of various herpetofauna, I decided I wanted to share some of my adventures through my own writing. Social media could really only take me so far, nobody wants to read a multi paragraph essay on Facebook or Instagram. So I made a website.
